New AAPC Chapter Association Board of Directors Announced

Salt Lake City, Utah (PRWEB) April 24, 2009 -- The new 2009-2010 Board of Directors for the American Academy of Professional Coders Chapter Association (AAPCCA) was announced at the AAPC's National Conference earlier this month in Las Vegas. The board is comprised of eight returning members and eight new members, all experienced and skilled medical coders, former local chapter officers and leaders in their communities.

The AAPCCA, the governing board for the AAPC's more than 400 local chapters, was established in 2007 to create, maintain and sustain the AAPC's local chapter infrastructure. The board does this through policies and assistance to local chapters, empowering local chapter leaders to function in support of the AAPC mission, "Upholding a Higher Standard." The AAPCCA and all AAPC local chapters are not-for-profit.
